PADI Underwater Navigator course
Being lost in a city can be very annoying, but underwater this can be even more frustrating. Just made a beautiful dive, but you have no idea where you are. Usually in that case the dive will end with a long swim on the surface to the boat or shore.

During the course you will learn to use different tools that enable you to navigate underwater, one of them will be the compass. You will also learn to use natural navigation to enable you to find your way around underwater. For this you can use the current, position of the sun, wave action and the contours of the reef.

The advantages of being able to navigate underwater are numerous: you are better capable to plan your dive, you conserve air, you will feel more secure because you know where you are underwater and you are capable to execute the dive plan. This and more you will learn during the three dives of the course.
To qualify for the PADI underwater navigator course, an individual must:
- Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
- Be 10 years of age or older.
Duration of course: 3 dives.
